I saved a spider's life
one day when I noticed its arms thin and slim and fragile looking on the white hand washing bowl. I grabbed it away with a towel, a paper towel, kept it there alive, safe from the running water. I saved a spider's life one day, and I hope it remembers, though it does not matter as long as I remember. I saved a life, to whom I can say hello later today, and tomorrow. J.GJ. November 25, 2019

I live my life
in poetry I cannot remember a difficult time I did not rely on it for finding me for listening to my voice for making sense of loneliness presence others life. Thank you! J.GJ. November 25, 2019 Streams of tears
To push the boat Into rapids and waterfalls deep. Rivers of sweat To float the sails Into splashing and smashing seas. Oceans of piss To drain the bucket Into spongy springs underground. Can I moisten With a mist of blood lava The milky juices Of my icy cocktail, To melt my glacier And fill the glass With my clouds' heaviness, Or spill acid rain? J.Gj. June 16, 2020 Don't question me!
Don't you dare, Tell me What I can and I cannot! Don't doubt me for a moment! I will become a beast, a dragon, fire-breathing terrifying one, And somebody will regret, having me awaken, with that strength and that new meaning! If dare you will, don't you dare. Of me, For both, I care! J.Gj. November 2019 The rain is gone
No flow of water By the road side But the sparkling Goblets and droplets Still there Hanging on To the branches The brown thin branches Under the cold Rays of sunshine Half in shadow With one bright side Still there Crystal clear rain droplets Full of bright And there... J.Gj. November 2019 Crystal adorned branches
Dripping thin branches Brown chocolates branches In small goblets Droplets of water Sky tears Or simply relief sprinkles... From a heavy day... Bubbling streets Gray reddish pavements In flowing waters And under shocking Brief car tire interruptions. Floating bubbles Popping bubbles Breathing streams Boiling feelings In a shower With endless circles Moving on the surface Of reflective liquid And fluid souls Of a gray day. J.Gj. They tell you to squeeze them And Make a Lemonade But Nobody asks Who is Going to Drink That And Miss the Point That Lemonade Makers Are not necessarily Lemonade Drinkers... J.Gj. December 9, 2020 Curiosity
Observes with Sparkling Eyes It has Impatience and Patience It waits It smiles It has an Open Mouth of Awe of Excitement It jumps It hugs It embraces Curiosity Makes the Cat J.Gj. November 2020 It's eight o'clock
Birds at work On the covered ground Through the fallen leaves Beaks take peeks Robin beaks Bluejay fluff Squirrel tails up high Red woodpecker heads To naked tree bodies fly Birds at work It's food o'clock Breakfast time J.GJ. November 17, 2020 It is snowing here,
And I feel alone, Among stupid things I have to do, What do you want me to show you. What I want to know Maybe what has no answer An illusion of mind Fear and external values That have cloated my blood vessels Those that bring air to the brain And I just cry The crazy inside wants to crack open Leave out fear Throw out fear Get in fresh air Breathe with confidence In the common end Love and death… What is the point in doing this If pleasure is converted into pain Maybe because it is worth having Suffering justified I do not want that Stupid The snow is falling Out of the window Let your eyes wonder there And forget of your judgemental world Illusions Reality is out there In the snowflakes… J.GJ.
